MeQR Terms of Service

Effective date: June 1, 2026. These terms apply to all MeQR Digital IDs, MeQR Social profiles, posts, media, QR verification features, wallet views, and Monero-focused banking tools.

1. Adults Only

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a MeQR account. By creating a MeQR Digital ID, you confirm that your date of birth is accurate and that you are legally allowed to use identity, social, and banking demo services in your jurisdiction.

2. Absolute Zero Child Exploitation or Abuse

MeQR has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualized content involving minors, attempts to contact minors for exploitation, or any content, link, media, transaction, or behavior that facilitates harm to children. Violations may result in immediate account termination, preservation of evidence, and reports to law enforcement or child safety organizations.

3. MeQR Social Safety Rules

You must not post, upload, link to, promote, or coordinate abuse, harassment, credible threats, doxxing, non-consensual intimate media, hateful conduct, violent extremism, instructions for real-world harm, self-harm encouragement, scams, spam, impersonation, malware, phishing, or content that violates another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.

4. No Spam, Bots, or Fake Engagement

You must not use MeQR Social for mass posting, fake engagement, scraping, automated follows, engagement farming, coordinated inauthentic behavior, fake accounts, bot networks, unsolicited promotions, or attempts to manipulate feeds, rankings, likes, reposts, reports, or followers.

5. No Scams, Fraud, or Malicious Links

You must not run or promote phishing, fake giveaways, fake support accounts, rug pulls, pump-and-dumps, investment scams, impersonation scams, romance scams, extortion, wallet-draining links, malware, credential theft, seed phrase theft, private key theft, or links/files that trick users into signing harmful crypto transactions.

6. No Impersonation or Misleading Authority

You must not pretend to be another person, company, government agency, MeQR staff member, verified organization, bank, exchange, wallet provider, law enforcement agency, or public official. High-risk claims involving finance, health, law, identity, government, or emergencies must not mislead users or create fake authority.

7. Privacy, Harassment, and Doxxing

You must not harass, stalk, bully, dogpile, threaten, sexually harass, repeatedly contact someone after being asked to stop, or post private information. Private information includes home addresses, phone numbers, personal IDs, workplace details, private photos, private messages, financial records, seed phrases, private keys, wallet recovery data, or account credentials.

8. Illegal Goods, Extremism, and Real-World Harm

You must not sell, coordinate, facilitate, or promote illegal drugs, weapons, stolen accounts, forged documents, trafficking, exploit kits, hacking services, terrorism, violent extremism, recruitment, fundraising, propaganda, operational support, or instructions that enable real-world harm.

9. Market Manipulation and Crypto Safety

You must not use MeQR to coordinate pump groups, fake trading volume, undisclosed paid promotion, misleading financial claims, price manipulation, or schemes that pressure users into sending crypto to unlock funds. No one should ask for another user's seed phrase, private key, password, recovery code, or wallet signing approval.

10. No Evasion or Platform Abuse

You must not evade bans, create alternate accounts to harass others, repost removed content, bypass moderation systems, abuse reporting tools, exploit bugs, bypass rate limits, attack infrastructure, scrape private data, reverse engineer protected systems, or use MeQR in a way that harms platform integrity or user safety.

11. Sensitive Content and Adult Content

Legal adult or graphic content, if ever permitted in a future version of MeQR Social, must be clearly labeled and kept away from users who do not want to see it. Illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, abusive, or minor-related sexual content is never allowed.

12. Media Moderation and Enforcement

MeQR may automatically scan uploaded media, quarantine posts, limit distribution, remove content, suspend accounts, preserve records, or require manual review when content appears unsafe, illegal, abusive, or high-risk. Reporting tools are for good-faith safety concerns and must not be abused to harass other users.

13. Lawful Use Only

You may only use MeQR for lawful activity. You must not use MeQR to receive, store, move, hide, convert, facilitate, or benefit from funds, accounts, content, or activity connected to crime, fraud, theft, ransomware, sanctions evasion, terrorism financing, exploitation, trafficking, narcotics, weapons violations, corruption, or any other unlawful activity.

14. No Money Laundering or Illicit Funds

Money laundering, layering, structuring, obfuscating beneficial ownership, attempting to disguise the source of funds, or using MeBank for illicit proceeds is strictly prohibited. Do not use MeBank for shady business, scams, mixer-like activity, mule accounts, or transactions designed to evade compliance review.

15. Monero, Privacy, and Compliance

MeBank focuses on Monero ($XMR) because it is privacy-preserving. Privacy is not permission to break the law. You are responsible for understanding and following the laws, tax obligations, reporting duties, and sanctions rules that apply to you.

16. Account Truthfulness and Security

You agree to provide accurate account information, protect your password, and only issue QR verification codes for yourself. Device biometrics and passkeys are used to reduce QR copying risk, but you remain responsible for securing your devices, sessions, posts, and account activity.

17. Review, Suspension, and Reporting

MeQR may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts suspected of violating these terms. MeQR may preserve records and cooperate with lawful requests, compliance obligations, investigations, safety reviews, or risk reviews.

18. Demo Status and No Financial Advice

MeBank is currently a software demo and does not provide legal, tax, investment, custody, exchange, brokerage, or financial advice. Do not deposit real funds into any demo-generated address unless and until production wallet infrastructure is explicitly launched and documented.

19. Acceptance

By creating a MeQR Digital ID or using MeQR, MeQR Social, or MeBank, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and safety guidelines.
